Our adopted unit the 266th MP Company departed for Iraq on October 8, 2008 for a one year tour of duty.  During that time they will train Iraqi Police as well as providing normal policing duties.  Members of our Post attend the departure ceremmony to wish them well and let them know the VFW is here for them and their famalies.
