The Department of Virginia held a Recruiter School at VFW post 3106 in Oceanside, Virginia on March 21 and 22, 2009.  Bill Bloomquist from National VFW taught the session that included  participants from throughout the department.  Saturday consisted of classroom training which  culminated in roll-play exercises.  Sunday the team hit the streets, knocking on doors and staffing  recruiting booths at local venues.  We recruited over 85 new and reinstated members, and the Ladies got over 7 new members.
